The Bridges Database features scholars trained in French and Francophone history who have pursued non-professoriate careers in a wide variety of fields, including government, museums, education, journalism, and research. 

If you are looking for career information or advice, use this database to get in touch with someone on a career path that interests you or you are curious to know more about. 

How to use the database:

  • Click on a name below to expand the record and view additional details, including resources that person offers and contact information. If their contact information is not included, please email us and we will forward you the information.

  • To see the list organized by employment, use the Filter button, select "Sector of Employment," and choose one of the available options.

  • To see the list organized by service offered (ex: feedback on résumés, networking, internship opportunities, etc.), use the Filter button, select "Bridges Resources Offered," and select the services that interest you.

  • Feel free to combine filters!
